To Start a ticket, use the Search For Last Name text box to type in the customers last name. There are also other ways to wearch for the customer, including the Plate #, Vin # and so on.
The Front Desk displays all current tickets. Each ticket will be listed under the corresponding tab (fully customizable) to easily navigate through your workflow.
Searching for a customer is simple. You have the option of searching by last name, plate, phone number, vehicle model, zip code, vin or fleet number. Enter the criteria in which you'd like to search for and push enter. Bay-Master will display all matching customers from the system in a list. Select the customer you want to create a ticket for and select 'Create Ticket'.
You begin making your ticket from the Estimate Summary screen. You begin with entering the customers' repair instructions, reviewing recommended work, Technical Service Bulletins, as well as Recall information. From there you can begin creating your ticket by adding repairs. Selections include General Repair, Quick Lube, Preventative Maintenance Schedule, Tires. Other features on this screen are setting source of lead, the status of a ticket, scheduling, mileage, tire tread and brake pads, adding notes, printing invoices, and LOF stickers.
