At Bay-Master, we believe great software is built hand-in-hand with the people who use it daily. That’s why we’ve been listening closely to your suggestions on Frill — and we’re excited to roll out new features that came straight from the shop floor.
Here’s what’s new in Bay-Master:
🔔Alerts can now be set to play a noise when one comes in
You asked for a clearer, faster way to see when messages and changes came in, and now all alerts can be set to play a custom sound so you can hear it when you are away from your desk. Never miss a booked appointment or a text again!
💳Pay multiple tickets at once
Take payment on multiple tickets at once from anywhere on the Front Desk! This works for anyone, whether they’re in accounts receivable or they have a few repairs open at once.
🧾Record Totals Overhaul
The Records Totals button now has extra options for noting when the approved total has changed. We worked closely with users in New York and California to meet their legal requirements, but this should be a benefit to anyone who wants to keep stronger records of each repair.
💬Thanks to Norgard’s Automotive in Fresno, CA for making sure we got this one just right!
⚡Easy Repair List Selection
You can now click on the name or anywhere else in a row to add a repair to an open work order. No more target practice when trying to add a job!
💬Everyone can send their thanks to Auto-Lab in Howell, MI for this one.
🖨️Ticket Print Settings Revamp
Ticket print settings now have their own button in the menu bar! They will be tucked away until you need them.
Additionally, we added the option to quickly switch whether or not part numbers are printing to your ticket. You’re in control😎
💬Red’s Garage in Port Chester, NY brought the part number control to our attention. Many thanks!
All of these updates are live now — and they wouldn’t exist without your input. Keep the ideas coming by visiting our Frill roadmap anytime. You can submit suggestions, vote on features, and see what’s coming next.
Thanks for helping us make Bay-Master better every day.
